Miscellany day…

Hey ya’ll.  Well, today is a hodgepodge day.  Report number one is on the wonder dog…tiny weenie girl.  She is off her medicine and crate rest.  I think she is about as good as she is going to be.  I never could put her to sleep, but that’s fine now.  She seems happy again and two of my girlfriends remarked how content she seemed (I also shared the not so positive side-affects of her partial paralysis).  She is able to get around with a little hop motion and her left leg still doesn’t always do what she wants it to do, but that hasn’t stopped her.  She thinks she’s fine.  She goes to get her toys out now, and didn’t when she was at her worst.  She seems quite content to be with momma, and it’s clear she really only wants me on some days (which was not the way she acted before).  As I type she is snuggled up next to me.

We have heard no more from the stalker mom…thank goodness.  I was going to have to go all Evil Queen on her and get my black leather outfit on (which, if I had such an outfit, I would wear anyway).

Lastly, keep your chin up peeps.  Use some music therapy if you are having a bad day or need to relieve stress.  Know when to say no to taking on another job, and steer clear of people who cause you stress.  I am working on that last one myself. I really have too much going on in my life right now to deal with negative folks.  These people are destructive, so let them self-destruct somewhere else.

I am leaving you with a very worthwhile quote because if you can’t be yourself in front of a “friend” then the chances are, they were never really one to begin with:

“What is a friend? I will tell you . . . . it is someone with whom you dare to be yourself.
